Covid disrupted research projects finally reach their end!
Despite the significant challenges posed by Covid, not least the necessary extension of this project from 2 years to 3, the two externally funded research projects currently underway in CTSA member schools will finally draw to a close in July.
School Readiness Through Musicianship, funded through Paul Hamlyn Foundation
There has been significant evidence of the impact of this project on the personal and social development of children in Reception classes across the project schools, and the approaches developed in phase 1 of the project have now been extended into Year 1 provision.
Most significantly, the outcomes of the project are currently being developed into a ‘legacy’ programme and resources which will be available to Essex schools via Essex Music Services, in due course.
